SPRINT project Final Conference takes place on 23 February

On 23 February, fellow Shift2Rail project SPRINT organises its Final Conference. This event will be the opportunity to show how the SPRINT project contributes to Shift2Rail’s ‘Interoperability Framework’, which aims at facilitating multimodal travel in a highly diverse environment and with many transport modes.
SPRINT provides a reference architecture and the tools for building a performant and scalable Interoperability Framework, allowing the publication of services and generation of automatic data converters for better integration of services and therefore delivers an ecosystem of interoperable services by:
•Easing and automating the collaborative creation of semantic-based services, such as ontology management and the creation of mappings between standards;
•Defining how semantic web technologies can be used to streamline data conversion processes, thus improving time to market and easing industrial adoption;
•Letting Transport Service Providers contribute to the creation of a sharing ecosystem through the Asset Manager. This publication platform enforces governance and provides automation, helping to manage the lifecycle of digital assets according to the principles of data sovereignty.
